Amaia Montero was born in 1976, in Irún.She knew she wanted to be a singer when she was a little girl. She started in 1996. The group La oreja Van Gogh, sang in a talent contest buy they didn't win.They went to another talent contest- they won! They got a contract with Sony.In 1998 the group reallased their first CD- Dile al sol. They played 150 concerts.Next se recorded her second CD, El viaje de Copperpot.One yar leter she did his first song with Alex Ubago.
